"Total Surprise" by Gary Underhill September 19, 2009 - Likes it - Drving through Leesburg, we got hungry and decided to stop at J.J. Fins. We were reluctant to stop as we thought that with the amount of cars parked outside, we we never get in. However, we managed to parking spot and were surprised that there was a table available. The food was great. Fresh sushi for appitezers, and one of the best fish & chips I've had (but way too big to finish). My kids were happy too because their plates were plastic frisbees. Very affordable. I would definitely go back. "Very good boating vibes at JJ Fin's" by Guy and Millie D. December 13, 2009 - Our experience at JJ Fins was great this past November 2009. We would like to comment on something other than the fine food, however: There is excellent access to the restaurant via boat... a fabulous large pier with individual docking slips... all of excellent construction and in beautiful condition... very hip and very much appreciated by the boating community. It successfully creates a wonderful warm welcome to this group of patrons. Also, in another area: On the day we were there, ... live music. We heard a male solo guitarist/ singer who was perfectly suited for the venue... good volume and pleasant delivery. The whole clever place seems to try hard to click together. We enjoyed ourselves and the complete package. "Great Food, Great Prices, Great Atmosphere" by reppinjerswey112 January 09, 2010 - Likes it - JJ Fin's came recommended to me by several of my friends who had nothing but wonderful reviews about the restaurant. Driving through town with my husband and children we decided to try it out. We were greeted by the friendly staff and seated almost immediately. The atmosphere and menu of the restaurant is very fun and kid friendly. Our server was great and very timely; she stayed on top of everything. The menu offers a wide variety of foods, sushi is made to order and fresh, tasted delightful. My husband and I absolutely loved our dish and price was very reasonable. We will definitely be making frequent visits and will highly recommend to friends and family. "Great night out" by London January 09, 2010 - Likes it - Well I started wanting to suprise my wife w/ a night out which we don't get that often because of our two young boys. So planned a babysitter and took her for a night out. We went to JJ Fins, I was scrared because my wife doesn't eat much, but I was never so happy we went there. Yhe server staff was fantastic, puntual, and kept in good contact we us. I ordered a 16 oz. Ribeye Med. and I'm pretty damn picky and it came perfect. I've been to Ruth Chris and even Vics, they couldn't satisfy me. My wife had the Fried green tomatoes as a app. Golden brown and crispy. I forgot what the sauce was under them but it was perfect along w/ the tomato. I had the wings as app. 10 PLUMP and juict wings on a skewer, 3 great dipping sauces, it was a meal in it self.(the next time I sneak away for a cold brew I know where I'm going back, they were that good). My wife, who is like Sally on Harry met Sally, I was worried, my food was great but if hers wasn't, We wouldn't go back(at least together). She ordered a crab Stuffed lobster, she asked for a side of mashed pot(her favorite) and a side a veg. Well let me tell ya, it was the quietest meal I ever had w/her. Not a worf till she was done. The food was really, really good. The service was good to, and u could tell they where busy,but still tentative. We found our new hidding spot. I made reservations for there Valentines special when I left. Told the wife I forgot my cell phone and snuck back in and made them. My Jack and cokes where right on, and she loved the strawberry Margiritas. "Worth the wait- Great Specials, Great Service" by cyp_perez January 25, 2010 - Likes it - Driving up to the parking lot of JJ Fin's I anticipated that we would have a long wait, because the parking lot was full and the restaurant was equally as full. I took my chance because I thought to myself "a full restaurant must be a good thing and mean only one thing, the food is good", plus I've heard only good things about the food there. Well, much to my surprise the wait was not too long and we were attended to immediately. I ordered the Steak & Lobster special which also caught me by surprise because it was only $14.99! and it tasted excellent. We had to wait a little longer then usual (not too long) but it was understood being that the restaurant was real busy. The food was definitely worth the wait though. The staff was very friendly and our server made sure to give us great service despite the fact that she seemed busy. Took her time explaining the entrées, I have to say we were well taken care of. I recommend the restaurant to anyone who is looking for good food, great service and a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere and experience. We drove the boat right up, were seated immediately (rare on a Sunday afternoon). I'm slowly becoming a proud regular. Highly recommeded. "great afternoon" by Phil January 31, 2010 - Just want to say thanx to the owners for putting a place like this here. After fishin all day we were pretty thirsty so we had a few beers on the deck and the ladies you had playing were great, good atmoshere, even being chilly. Had some great foodtoo. I was worried about the guava sauce but damn it was the best chichen sand. I'v had. Check this out, the manager from the kitchen came around and was chatting w/ every body. Talked to him for a while, his name was Mike or MArk, bad memeory. But by the time we left, he gave us 2 hot spots to hit for some bass, and one of them he was right on the money.. this place is great, I felt very welcome. Will be back with the family. Please, please don't go no where. We needed a palce like this. Thanks again.......
