 
 James (Jimmy) “Fin” was a beloved surfer of the 1960’s whose skills riding the waves of the great Pacific grew to legendary status. Onlookers witnessed JJ riding a primo eighteen foot wave right over the top of a HUGE GREAT WHITE shark. He rode the wave fearlessly to the beach and was welcomed by a cheering crowd who could not believe what they had just witnessed.
The story of his incredible surfing skills made its way up and down the coast. As his reputation grew, locals came to know him simply as “Fin”.
His warm hospitality and love of people led to incredible beachside cookouts and parties. Fin loved to indulge his guests with tantalizing food, great cocktails, and plenty of beachside fun.
With JJ Fin in mind, we decided to develop our unique restaurant concept to pay homage to Fin’s love of life, friends and hospitality. We hope your dining experience at our dockside restaurant embodies the bold spirit of JJ Fin. His love of great food, great friends, and great times will never be forgotten by those that knew him.
